Restoration of the Choir Division of our Pipe Organ
The Choir division is one of five divisions of the organ (the others are Pedal, Great, Small, and Solo). It is typically softer in sound and is designed to accompany the choir and soloists with expression. At present, the Choir division is not functioning well.
Maintaining our organ is necessary. Our organ was originally installed in 1934. In 2007, most of the organ was restored; however, the Choir division was not included at that time. In other words, the time has come for this restoration project!
As this is a special project, we ask that any contributions (if you plan to participate) be given over and above your current offerings to MacNab. We will not proceed with this project until all the necessary funds have been raised.We will provide regular updates on our progress toward the goal of $25,000.
