Rappin’ Up the Bible

Dear Friends,

It is my privilege to be the minister here at MacNab Street Presbyterian Church. As you may or may not know, we have a big challenge ahead of us with the repairs to the north wall of Johnston Hall -totaling in the neighborhood of a half a million dollars. Our Johnston Hall building  (which includes the wall to be repaired)  hosts* the Hamilton Out of the Cold program 2 nights a week (from November-March), community outreach breakfasts (free of charge), our second worship service (“Gathering”) and many other church and community functions.

To help raise awareness of this project,  I’m offering my “Rappin’ Up the Bible” video free to everyone. These videos, linked below, are a summary of the entire Biblical narrative in the form of a rap; divided into 4 parts:

  1. Old Testament
  2. Life of Jesus
  3. Book of Acts
  4. Last 22 books (this last part is not rapped, but a helpful summary with memory helps).

I hope it can be helpful to you in understanding the flow of the Bible’s narrative and may be useful as a teaching tool as well. If you watch it and find it helpful (or just feel sorry for me!), you may wish to consider making a donation to The MacNab Legacy Project (this is the fund set up for the repairs to the church which presently focusses on Johnston Hall). Of course, this is completely optional. 100% of donations will go directly to the church (I do not receive or handle them) and it will help MacNab carry on our mission in downtown Hamilton.

If you would like to participate, Please visit our The MacNab Legacy Project page.

Hope you find Rappin’ Up The Bible helpful!
